Can anyone tell me what year toyota started building the ford ranger in its plants.

Don`t know where you got that,but Ford does build the Mazda pick-up along with the Ranger on the same assembly line.

Asian Ranger, refered to as the Thailand Ranger is built in Ford plants in Asia. Mazda designed them, and beyond that I know you can view them on YouTube.com. Look at Ford Ranger. Some are writers posting TV clips.;)
