1968 galaxy front drum to rotor swap
 
hello i just purchased a 68 galaxy 2 door with a 390. im looking for any info on swapping the front drums to rotors and making it power brakes. just what all do i need to change out. is this something you have to buy a kit for or will a later model ford of some sort work on it. thanks for any info

South418, this link will offer just about anything you could ever want to keep original or upgrade. Looks like you already have the drum to disk conversion. Next is going from standard to power brakes. You'll find everything you need for that too from the folks at dearbornclassics. I have a '66 Galaxie and hope to one day convert to power disc brakes as well. It sure takes a lot to stop that heavy car.
