72 Torino problems
 

So I've been working on this car for a couple months now, it has the 351M in it. So this is what I've done so far,


Edelbrock Intake
Edelbrock Carb *600*
Edelbrock Cam *mild street cant remember the duration*
Edelbrock double roller timing chain
Mallory HYFire 6AL Ignition box
Mallory HEI distributor

here is my problem,

I cant get the damned car to time. it will either idle around where it needs to be and then drop off after you tap the gas, or it will idle so high that when you plug in the vacuum line it idles even higher. I am totally stumped with what to do with this thing now.
