Question Bronco 2 engine swap

I'm new to the whole bronco thing, Ive had fords in the past though. I just aquired a 1984 Ford bronco 2, its auto with a 2.8 and I'm wondering what would be the best motor to put in it. Some guys say drop the 4.0, some say 5.0 and a few have told me to toss in the 5.7 or 5.8. I dont know what to go with. If some one has a suggestion to help me out let kne know.

All are opinion based, but if you put in larger than a 4.0 you are going to run a greater risk of snapping axles, etc. because the B2 only had a dana 25 in the front and a dana 30 in the rear. Kinda light weight for V8's.
