Blis issue below 32F
 

2017 C-max. Has anyone had the mirror LED light turn on with no car in lane when the outside temperature was below 32F and heater fan was at max speed?

It seems like fan at max speed is creating some electrical noise and turning on the Led in mirror.

Anyone out there with this problem?

Haven't heard of anything..

Any add in devices, or aftermarket devices in proximity?
There were some issues with phone chargers ect causing issues with TPMS triggers on a few models.. Not BLIS though..

No aftermarket options at all. The issue is the left mirror LED comes on only when heater blower is at max speed and outside temperature is below 32F. Defrosters all off.
So far I swapped the SODL and SODR (radar unit), still same issue.
Dealer installed new driver's door module, DDM, under warranty, still same issue.
Dealer swapped L and R mirrors to see if problem reversed sides, still same issue.
Dealer installed new BCM under warranty, still same issue.
I believe there is a CAN BUS interference issue with the fan, but who knows yet.
With warm weather now, it will be hard to determine if something is fixed. May have to wait till next winter. Car still under warranty for next two years.
Very interesting problem.
