Default Crown Vic question

I am new to this forum and being an owner of a CV so bare with me. I have a 2001 CV that is in need of a new front bumper cover. I would like to replace it with something a little more sportier. Does anyone know if the cover from a 2007 Grand Marquis would fit? Thanks.

The parts should interchange. Ford has not really made any changes to the body since 1998.

Thanks for the reply way2old, but I really need a definate yes or no answer. I don't want to spend the money and find out the hard way that it doesn't. Thanks again though.

Today the Ford Company has announced that the new Ford Fiesta will be produced at the Cuautitlán Assembly Plant starting in early 2010 (Cuautitlán is a city and in Mexico State). They also announced that a sporty European hatchback will be added for production to the North American lineup alongside this popular mini.

The plan for the new Ford Fiesta will be a bolder and more sophisticated design, so that it would be enough to exceed other car in its category. Ford added that it will also be improved in terms of performance, design and fuel efficiency. Overall, “small cars sales have grown from 23 million units in 2002 to an estimated 38 million 2012” that is why ford is very much eager to release a new and much improved version of the ford fiesta and other new cars.

Call a local salvage yard and they have a crossover chart that will tell you for sure.

In talking to a friend who owns a body shop, the Grand Marquis part would have to be modified extensivly on the sides below the headlights and side marker lights. This area is very differant than the Crown Vic's. Other than that it would fit.
