Crown Victoria problems
I have a 2002 Ford Crown Victoria. Wiring on the starter was completely corroded away which is why it wouldn’t start so I replaced the starter, has a brand new battery. Drove about 20-25 miles highway and some stop and go, ran great! Turned on a side street and the car shut off but still had plenty of power and still does. Cranks like hell but won’t turn over. Found that a 20 amp fuse under the dash for the fuel pump has blown. Any red flags for that?

Welcome to the site..
Looking st the CJB, only 20 amp fuses show to be Power Points (cig lighter-flasher relays), Driver Door Module, ABS Module. Battery Box has a 20 for the fuel pump relay.
What position is the fuse that blew in within the CJB?

Thanks for the welcome! The position the fuse that blew is in slot #5 and it’s the fuse box under the drivers dash. Stoped at the auto parts store and picked up a pack of the same 20A fuses, replaced it and runs like a champ. Go figure. Even drove around the neighborhood hot rodding it if you will trying to see if it would blow again but didn’t. I know the fuel pump doesn’t sound the same like it used to a while back, good and loud if you liston well. It does have 162,000 on it and I bet it’s the original fuel pump just like the starter that corroded to dust lol. Dreading replacing the fuel pump which I will have to do myself
