Leaky Bell Housing After Mishap on Ice
I have a 1992 Ford Crown Victoria. Unfortunately, it recently skidded out of control on some black ice, jumped a curb and landed -- stranded -- on top of a concrete island where traffic merged.About $800 later, I've got the car back with two new front wheel rims, two new tires, new wheel bearings and an alignment. Now I see that it has developed a :drip" from the bell housing. Any theories on what the likely problem is here. the car's undercarriage did take a nasty shot in this accident, although it rides and drives like new right now. I am concerned about this leak.

This would be a good time to not chance it and take it to a shop. Could be as little as a seal - could be as bad as fracture to innards.
