Lighter power wire in 2002 P71
 

Hi, I have a 2002 CVPI and found that the wire to the lighter in the ash tray is missing. Is this way from the factory on police cars? (Maybe so the officers don't smoke??)

I have tried to get under the dash to find it, figuring it was just off and shoved up inside, but can't get the ash tray out of the way far enough to see the wires....any help or suggestion would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
