The coolant in my 97 Crown Victoria appears to have rust in it and was wondering what possible damage could result and what were the possible fixes. Does anyone have experience with the chemicals that claim to lubricate the pump and prevent rust?

 

Have the system flushed. You do not need to add chemicals if you do regular maintenance.
