Transmission compatibility?
To Anyone That May Know:
I'm considering beefing up my very clean '97 CV P71. I could stay with the 4.6 and have it built up at considerable cost. I've seen one CV owner who swapped out his stock 4.6 for a 5.7 Lightning engine and mated it with a Tremec transmission. (Here's the link: http://videos.streetfire.net/video/Q...ged_136418.htm). I would like to do that but keep the factory AOD transmission in my CV. Will it match up, or do I have to get an automatic transmission for the 5.7 too?
