1974 Ford E350 Chateau Van Need Rear Fuel Tank
 

Hello Ford Friends:

I have a 1974 Chateau Van -- 302 with the dual gas tanks. When i bought it -- it had the side tank, which is a rectangular affair - but the rear tank was not there.... the sending connection, the filler and vent line is there, the fuel hard line is there above the dana 60 - but I need to find a tank. I can find ones listed for the Gen 1 econos -- which are up to 1967 -- but nothing for my 74 (which is think is the last year before they changed in 75).

Any ideas? When I look at the 75 tanks, the dimensions look good for fitting, but it looks like the filler neck and vent hose would need to be in the corner of the tank - the 75 tanks seem to have this located on the top side in the middle of the tank, not towards the corner.... any Econo Van guru's out there that can tell me ? Seems like parts for this vintage of van are harder to find for some reason....
