Hi folks. I have a 1988 ford E150 inwhich about 23 months ago I noticed that the seat belt read light on the dash stays on. I know its not actually related to the seat belt being buckled because they didnt have that actual function on the van back then. The light would come on at start-up then just go right out. Any clues folks? Also my temp gauge doesnt work, I dont remember if that happenned at the same time or not.

 

sorry was thinkin of something else. just disconnect the light on the dash.
