1989 ford e350 transmission shift cable issue.
Hello, I've been through advanced auto parts, O'Reilly, autozone, rock auto, and unable to find a shift cable for my automatic transmission. I went under my 7.5 liter to do an oil change and realized what I think is my shift cable looking like it's holding on by a thread, so I need to replace but having a hard time finding the part. Can anyone help me or point me in right direction? Thanks for any help

Those type cables are generally dealer items. Don't know if they are the same for later years, but if they are you are lucky because dealers don't always have parts for older vehicles.
Since it is a weekend most trans shops are probably closed, but you might try one of those if close by. Last resort is a salvage yard. |
