I have a 1994 E350 with a 351 that skips intermittently when it reaches operating temperature and the check engine light comes on. It has shut off on a couple of occassions, but starts right back up. Other than that, the vehicle runs well, got plenty of pick up, just skips. Got new plugs and wires. Any other ideas would be appreciated.

 

I have exact same problem with my van. I have had it in the shop with no such luck. Only thing I know for sure is that vacuum pressure drops from 20-25 range to about 14. The miss is absent when cold and when warm becomes pretty consistent but has not yet killed the engine. I have re-done distributer, plugs, wires, fuel injectors, ignition, and had the heads pulled down and inspected and rebuilt. Still misses. Would love to know if anyone has had this problem.
