1999 E350 Cut off upon Stopping

1999 E350 Cut off upon Stopping
I have a 1999 E350 that has started cutting off when I stop. When I decelerate and come to a stop it will sort of lunge forward a bit and then die. I notice this when I am backing up also. Any knowlege you can give me before I take it to the shop would be appreciated. Thanks
