2000 E150 4.6L A/C Fuse or Relay
 

My owners manual depicts the I/P fuse box, as well as the under the hood Pwr Dstrb Box. NO mention to A/C. I want to "pull the fuse or relay for the compressor. The unit is cycling for say 4-5 Sec's, every 20-25 Sec's.
I have the heat on and temp on hot... still does it.

To me, a bunch of gas is being wasted, not to mention wear on the compressor clutch and other parts.

Can you help pinpoint the fuse/relay to pull?

There are some acronyms I'm not sure of, help me to understand, and maybe one of these is the A/C.

4WABS - assume "4 Whl ABS" ?
RKE - Rmt Key Entry ?
PCM - Pgm Cntrl Module ?
RABS - Rear ABS ?
IDM - ?
NGV - ?
DRL - ?

Don't want to pull the plug on the compressor, can just barely see it, and don't want to be climbing under car to put back in... stuff in the way, etc.

Don't want to just start pulling fuses to see if it solves the problem, because that fuse may be controlling other stuff.

You can unplug the A/C cycling-low pessure switch on the accumulator/drier, or, the high pressure switch in the A/C line on up from the compressor.. Either will interupt the compressor for power distribution.. BUT,, if your noticing the compressor run/cycling in the Defrost mode (normal) unpluging or canceling the compressor will cause the defrost function to not be able to 'de-humidify' the defrost air limiting its ability to de-fog the glass quickly and restrict it's performance....
