2001 E-350 Heat Not Working Well

2001 Ford E-350 5.4 Vin L Front Hvac Only. Vehicle has warm heat at best, coming from the vents in any mode. Has had a ton of work on it for other issues this is the last problem for now. New thermostat (engine reaches 198-200degf on scanner. Heater core has been Flushed flow was perfect not to much junk coming out of it.Heater hoses are hot inlet and outlet once at operating temperature. Coolant level is filled. I Pressure tested cooling system no leaks. Hvac temp control is noticeably cooler at cold setting and warmer in warm setting can see the blend door actuator turning when I turn the control. Really stumped to see this poor heating concern here, is there anything I’m missing or any advice that could help me out here. Thank you all.

The actuator may be moving, but is the door still attached to the actuator lever? May need to use flashlight and mirror to see it.

For sure, sounds like a good possibility. to check it do you think I should remove the cover for the heater core to see it or is there an easier way maybe?
thanks for the reply.

It can be a little crunchy on the body, but sometimes you can remove the blower motor (3-screws) and look in the ductwork with a flashlight and small mirror.

That’ll work thank you.

For sure, should have an answer by tomorrow afternoon if that’s the issue or not fingers crossed. I feel like I’ve covered just about everything else.

Temp blend door seems to be working just fine, only other thing maybe the heater core is plugged externally? With blower on high vent setting, temp control on cold the air blows stronger then when the temp control is on heat. What do you think?

I think you are right on the money !
If you have access to a source of compressed air, you might get away with just blowing all the blockage back off the heater core to where you might be able to vacuum it out if you remove the blower motor. Blower is easy to remove , covering for access to heater core different animal. If vehicle has A/C , you have your work cut out for you.

UPDATE!!! That was spot on Externally plugged up. I was able to clean out an ungodly amount of dirt and pine needles using compressed air and a vacuum in the heater core housing. Thanks for your help I really do appreciate it and hopefully this may help someone in the future. Heat is working great!
