I bought a 2008 Ford E150 as my first vehicle; the wife and I want to make a stealth camper. The van came with a standard "cage" installed behind the front seats; it's just a metal barrier bolted to the frame with a mesh window that allows rear view. I want to buy a new drivers seat, and I'm wondering if I can simply move the old drivers seat and install it in the back of the van? I expect that this should not be a problem, but I thought I'd ask.

How do people normally find new seats? My instinct was to search ebay, but maybe better deals could be found at some local junk yards or something. As a first time vehicle owner, this is all very new to me.
