Climate Control Stalls

Good morning everyone, or is it. I have a 1997 E150 with a 4.6liter. Engine runs great until you turn on anything to do with the Climate control switch, defrost, A/C, mix. Once the switch is moved the engine will stall. It will restart, but then stall if the switch is on. Does anyone know what needs to be done?????

Try unplugging the A/C compressor clutch connector, or the the low pressure/cycling switch connector. It sounds like the compressor may be causing the drag/stall..

Compressor comes on in defrost to eliminate fog/condensation, same with blend.

Thank you. After realizing we had a problem, I shut the Climate Control down started it back up and listened under the hood and it actually also sounds like I have a pulley/bearing problem.
Thanks for your help.
