4.9L 70K> Valves Already???> Or ...Cat?
Welcome to my first day of spring....
rather keep this fine van 87 i think
70k miles, looks great.
Started losing power couple months ago.
Race the engine with cover off and my head down on the right side,
popping can be heard coming from the forward cylinder head area
as if valves were not closing.
Dry Comp check showed #1 at 90+, the rest at 130+.
Disregarding this, when do catalytic converters start clogging with these
beasts?
I paid less than a valve job will cost for this van....the front pipe with integral cat and first muffler would have to be cut for cat inspection...
all opinions appreciated in advance

Is it easier to put a bigger supercharger in a car with on already installed? same with turbo.......
