ford e250 van cruise control not working after changing ECU
The repair shop changed the engine control computer. Now the cruise control no longer works.
they tried diagnosing it. My suspicion is that the cruise control was not updated when the flashes the ecu to my vin in my 2007 ford E250.
I also had a new engine put in since. I miss that cruise control while trying to navigate NYC speed cameras. And occasionally when there is not traffic and can cruise on the highway.
when I first got the van 2 years ago the cruise control worked intermittently. I changed the brake sensor and that fixed it until the ecu change.
what else could it be ?
