Default Tie rod hitting radiator hose

Hi, folks. New guy here with a weird problem.

I just crawled under the front end of my 96 E350 (351W, E4OD), looking for a small coolant leak. I'm not sure I've found it yet, but I did find that my tie rod is hitting the lower radiator hose, and it's worn a bunch of rubber off of it! It's hitting right where the drag link joins the tie rod, so there's a nice connector there to make for some serious abrasion.

One of the downsides of having teenagers who do the oil changes is that you don't get under the thing as often.

The weird thing is, the hose does not look like it's out of place, nor does the tie rod. Obviously, something is NOT where it belongs, but I can't see which is wrong or how anything is out of place.

Does anyone have a picture or diagram of what the correct setup looks like?
