i was wondering if anyone ha ever installed any sort of performance tunner program to their econoline and if they have share the pros and cons. baicaly is it woth the money and do they reay make a difference.

Do you have a diesel econoline? If so, yes you will notice a large difference. I've had a 6.4 powerstroke, LBZ duramax and 5.9 cummins diesel everything from a stock truck to ones with big aftermarket turbos, and proper tuning makes a huge difference and SCT is a big name when it comes to dealing with 6.0 PSD's and even 7.3's PSD's. With that being said I've also had ford chevy and dodge gas trucks and my personal opinion was the tuner was not worth the money for the minimal gains it made, and I don't see that being much different on the van.
