Default Stutter & hesitation

Time to tap the collective knowledge here.

'03 E150 4.6L V8

90k miles.

5k miles ago did plugs, fuel filter, and a drop in replacement K&N

After that drove to NY and AZ from Omaha. No issues (about 4k miles)

Recently the van has developed a serious and intermittent stumble/hesitation. I can't narrow down any particular situation where it will or won't do it. It's bad enough that you think it will die, but it never does.

NO SES light. I can't believe it, but it's not throwing one.

I've repulled every plug, double checked gap and reinstalled.
I've tried fuel system cleaner.
I've tried premium gas (we usually use the 10% ethanol gas)
I've tried cleaning the MAF.
I ohmed out every coil last night and all were the same .7
I took it to a local shop yesterday, went for a spin and of course it never acted up.

Ideas on how I can troubleshoot at this time? Tonight I'm going to pull every coil pack and check the boots over for cracks or anything similar. [/align]

Boots are all clean, fuel Pressure is rock steady when it acts up. TPS Ohm's and Voltages out fine.

Ideas anyone?
