Default Good battery, won't start until after System Off to Save Battery

Off and on this weekend my 2011 Edge started having difficulty starting. Finally got to a point where I needed to jump it. I found that after 10-20 minutes of leaving the car off that it would still start, sometimes solid, sometimes weak. The next day it would not start again and repeated the same behavior after jumping. Today I found that if I turned the key just before cranking and left it there until the "System Off to Save Battery" message appeared and waited until the status bar was completed, I was able to start the car. I have been able to repeat this 3 times throughout the day where I would have to wait until the "System Off..." and status bar was complete in order to start the car. If I don't go through this process then the car will click once in effort to start and nothing... no crank, no clicking of the starter.. nothing. And, the accessories still work.

Anyone know what the heck is going on and what I can do about this.
