When locking the doors they lock unlock and then lock

Hello, so I own a 2016 Ford Edge SEL and every time I lock it whether it be from the door or keyfob, it locks the doors then unlocks the doors and then finally locks them.

Is this normal or is something wrong? I really don't like that they unlock for about another second or 2 before finally locking.

Sometimes things like this can be corrected with a scan tool. Suggest you check with someone in Ford sales or service dept.

Alright, thank you! I will head over to the Ford Dealer Wednesday and have them check it out. I always thought it was weird that it is doing that, especially if I forgot to lock it and then remembered from a distance, that complete 1 second it unlocks back somebody could open it up before it finally locks the second time.
