01 Escape Oil Light on Intermit.

My 01 Escape 3.0L has almost 200k on it. Just recently the oil light has been coming on intermittently. When it does come on the engine is at operating temperature and is at idle, there is no abnormal engine noise when this occurs. Is this possibly just the sensor. Oil level is not low. Am using the recommended oil being 5w-20. Any ideas?

The better thing to do is to connect a manual gauge to confirm pressure is good. The result you get there will determine what you should do next.
