08 Hybird Battery Pack
 

I have a 2008 Escape hybrid. the transaxle is shot cost way more to fix than car worth.
My question is about the Battery Pack in the back. Is there a resale market for these? If so does anyone know how to find it or find out about it.
The car is in really nice shape, body and all, but it has 215,000 miles on it.
I could just sale it to the scrap yard But I would assume the Batteries have a value in and of their selves.
Any help would be nice. Oh Ya new here.

Hello friend. Why do you want to buy New one. These battery from Panasonic and the are not distrub so easy. Just you must to charge them correctly. Every battery you must charge 3-4 amper and 14V. İts will be charge till they shoot heat up to 50-60 oC. İt normally take from you aproximately 1 hour. Ok, may be 1 or to battery be damned. İn market nor have a new Sunny battery from Panasonic. And other firm battery not so good.
You can recharge them as İ told you
