2001 Escape cruise control inoperative.
 
There is no brake pressure switch on the master cylinder! Quite looking for it. The problem is the switch on the brake pedal(blue). Run the module test. Ask me... Remove the blue switch... The grey is your BRAKE LITE SWITCH...forget about it. DO NOT OPERATE OR DRIVE the vehicle during this test!!! Oh, and put the DVOM down. Remove the BLUE switch, ke sure push it ALL the way IN...HOLD IT ALL THE WAY IN ( You're going to need an assistant). No... Not the Blonde (Kidding). NOW, run your module test...I bet you get PEDAL MOVEMENT now.
The blue switch works on-off-on. It cancelles the cruise. THERE IS A DEAD SPOT. GET A NEW BLONDE... I MEAN BLUE SWITCH.
