2002 Ford Escape, v6 3L

I started working on this car the other day, and when taking it apart, I noticed an open tube on what I now know is the Fuel Injection Pressure Damper vacuum line. It's not connected to anything, and I don't see any other disconnected tubes around. can someone please tell me (with pictures :) if possible) where this line should go to?

Will it help any to put the line back? The car seems to be running great.....

The port on the fuel line pulsation dampener that has a hose connected to it , that hose is supposed to be connected to manifold vacuum to avoid fuel spillage in the event the diaphragm in the dampener were to rupture, it is a safety measure.

but I can't find any hoses not connected to anything, or any other open ports?

Your vehicle might still have a vacuum routing diagram pasted under the hood.
If it is there and readable, it should show where that hose connects on the manifold.
