2006 fokus 2.0 tdci vibration under acceleration???

I have a problem and the dealer cant seem to fix it. When accelerating there is a vibration, in 4th, 5th and 6 gear. Its not on the stearing wheel, feels like the car is shaking. The dealer changed the cv's, shafts, bearings, bushes, engin and gearbox mountings, dmv and still no fix. Then they put it on a dyne and found the vibration's origen comes from the engin. Checked the injectors, one was blocked, now fixed. Still not fixed the main problem... What els can this be????

Two things you didn't mention and they are the vibration damper (crankshaft pulley) and the flywheel. It does sound like the engine may be dropping a cylinder or two at certain times. Why didn't they change all the injectors?

They put a new dual mass flywheel in, they said the other injectors still fine. Do you think the crank can be cracked?

I know it sounds crazy, but I have seen a diesel engine run with a broken crankshaft. A lot depended on where it broke.
It is easier to replace the remaining injectors than getting into the crank although at this point anything is possible. If the clutch and flywheel balance marks are not lined up correctly , it can result in a vibration problem. Some units have the marks on the pressure plate and flywheel that are supposed to be lined up when assembled and this could also be a possibility.

Transmission manual or auto? The modern tuning shift methods on auto's is to lug the engine at moderate acceleration. This can lead the engine to have additional stress on the crank and other bottm-end engine parts. Main bearings and such. They better materials and engineering generally means this is not a problem. In your case it may be.
Maintain all you documentation with the dealer and even consider contacting Ford directly. (Being a Focus, also check FocusFanatics.com for advice.)
