Does anyone know how to check the universal joints on a 2006 ford escape xlt. When I put it in the air and move the tire front and back it makes a clunk noise when it stops to the front and back. Both wheels make this noise as well as the drive shaft when I move it by hand. Is this normal? I'm looking for a clunking noise and its not necessary when you hit a bump. I've recently replaced the control arms, outter tie rods and sway bar links. Any other ideas? Thanks in advance for your help.
