I figured, just wanted a second opinion. Would it make sense to have code p0128 pop up from an issue with the sensor on it?

No P0128 is a engine temp code.
Did you resolve what the original issue was or do you have new information about diag youve completed.

I haven't fixed the initial problem. I'm just getting all of the info I can to see if there's a sensor that im not finding because I have found that every part site and part store I've checked has an ect sensor that is separate from the cht sensor. However I was told on this thread as well as 2 other threads that my cht sensor is my ect sensor as well. So if that's true then im moving on to my thermostat and replacing that which is what I've been trying to avoid. But all the info I have is leading me to believe that's what I need to do. I wanted to be absolutely certain about it though because it's a pain in the ass to do on this vehicle unfortunately
