2010 Escape Igintion Problem

I have to push the key in hard before the car will start. This morning it failed to start and I was wondering if anyone has ever changed out the ignition or had a dealer ship do it.?
Also if so how much did they charge.

I had my mechanic change the ignition switch. It cost me $200.00
