2014 Escape Engine powering down

I'm new to this. Had my Escape into the dealer for routine PM.(oil change etc). The next day the engine high heat warning please pull over safely message came on in the dash. When we look under the hood we noticed that the radiator cap was left off from when the PM was done. We called the dealer and they towed the car back to there shop. They flushed the system and added new fulid. This happen 2 1/2 months ago and we keep getting the message power reduced to protect engine. It has been back to the dealer 3 times. They have switched out sensors and reflush the radiator out the second time .Any help would be appreciated. 2014 Titanium 2.0 L GTDI ecoboost eng

There are some questions that come up and are difficult to explain and they are;
Was there any problem before you decided to have the PM done?
If yes , OK , what kind of problem did it have?
If no, did they tell you why they have to keep flushing out the cooling system? Do they know something they are not telling you?
Radiator cap removed for oil change and PM , there is more going on here than presented.
Did you notice what the engine cooling system temp gauge was showing at the time the notice comes on?
Wondering if all this is by passing the real problem.

No problems before p.m. They were flushing the system because of air bubbles possibly causing the problem. The first time the temp gauge did go up. The dealer was able to get a code. But after the fourth time trying to figure it out they kind of threw their arms up and gave up.In the process right now of them buying the car from us.
