2019 Escape - add 3rd Key Fob
 

We have a 2019 Escape Titanium with keyless entry. We have both original key fobs and they work (although I got a new "shell" for the one I use). So I am trying to find out, definitively, if I buy another key fob (lets say 3rd party off Amazon, or even from the dealer), can I program that myself. I've tried looking for an answer but get conflicting ones. Some people say yes, if I have two working fobs I can do this. But others say no, it has to be programmed by the dealer or a locksmith with special equipment. So if anyone can give me the absolute truth on this, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
