Hi all, please help, my '03 v6 is using engine oil, about 1/2 qt in 1k miles. No signs of smoke or oil leaks and runs great. I have always used Castrol 5W20 blend with Motorcraft 820S filter at 2500 mi, 80k on the truck now. Any suggestions or evaluation tips as to the cause and or cures. Is the Escape notoious for this issue? Next oil change I'll try straight dino oil for the first time to see if I get a decrease in consumption.
