I am buying an 08 escape XLT this week but i cant decide what radio to get. I want to get the basic radio and swap it out for an aftermarket deck (i currently have a pioneer 9800BT in my 01 celica). The problem is just by looking at it, it doesnteven appear possible to remove the factory radio and install another one. isit even possible to remove the factory radio?? if so would it require modifying the interior?

any advice or sharing any experiences would be great. thanks in advance for any response.
