My Escape was back into by ??? and shoved the door handle in. It popped back out somewhat when pulled on, and door functioned okay. Did a little more work to get it looking better. However the door ajar light on the instrument panel comes on intermittently. My regulator went bad today so while I had the door opened up I thought I would verify the latch sensor. So I got my Haynes book and the wire codes do not match with what's on the power lock harness. It shows six in the book but there is only five in the real world. and the wire color only matches for the power lock not for the sensor or the lock and unlock part of the unit.
Any ideas
