I recently bought a 2005 escape with the 3.0V6 engine. I've never had overdrive before and am confused on how to use it to maximize gase mileage. Do I drive in the city with the button pushed in or leave it out? Will I see a difference by doing this alone?

Leave the button 'in' for most driving situations. You will get better gas mileage with the overdrive engaged.
