Odd Clunking noise

Hello, wondering if I could get some help.
I have a 2004 Ford Escape that I bought last May. I'm having an issue that is starting to really bug me. I noticed that a lot of times when I step on the break and gas pedal there will be a clunk/thud like noise. Happens occasionally driving, happens more when i reverse. I took it to the dealership and they replaced the bushings but still had the clunk noise and eventually just gave me back my car telling me that they had no idea what was doing it. They didn't charge me full price.
Still having the issue

So anyone have an idea?

So no clunk rattle over bumps right. Can you make the noise going reverse to forward and maybe brake torqueing it and you have a 3.0l V6 right?
