2008 escape power steering, dash warning lights
Hey guys!
New dude here, had a question about my step dads 2008 escape, 2.3l 345,000 miles
Last time the power steerin went out, he took it to a ford tech family friend who fixed it way cheap. Now my step dad is broke, and the power steerin is out again.
He mentioned some electrical contacts the family friend had to clean to fix the problem last time, any idea what these contacts may be? Preferably with pics? Or should i just try to find a column since i dont have the tool for the torque sensor?
Also, he hit a deer a while back, front end is held together with zip ties. Since that incident, dash lights are on everywhere, from airbag to abs and brake lights. Any idea where to start there?
Thanks in advance for any input
