Reset/Set Driver Door Code
 

I've just purchased an '08 Escape Limited. Does anyone know how to program the code for the driver's door? I do not have the wallet card which has the factory code that is usually included with the owners manual, and was wondering if there is some other way to do this.

There should be a card in the owners manual with the permanent code, along with instructions. Basically, enter the permanent code, hold down 1/2 until the locks cycle, enter your 5-digit user code and done.

Thanks for the tip, but I should have said this wallet card was not included as I purchased the vehicle used. I was hoping there was another way to go about resetting the code.
