My 2013 Ford Escape has what sounds like a "gear whine" at the rear wheel, drivers side area. It only makes the whine/hum noise on the "coast" side of the gear (or what ever is causing the noise). It's only on the "coast" side, not the "drive" side. In other words, when your foot is on the gas, it doesn't make the sound. Only when coasting, and slowing down, and usually at around 55 mph and below. Anyone out there experiencing this? I asked for, and saw the TSB for this at my dealer, but it only showed changing out bolts, nut, washers, retainer clips, fasteners, etc. It showed no moving parts needing replaced.
