98 ZX2 Electrical Issue

I have an issue with my 98 ZX2. I started about a week ago. I got into the car. When I turned the key, I got a click. When I turned it again, I got nothing. There is nothing lit up on the dash, no dome light, nothing. I assumed it was a bad ground. I replaced the ground cable. I also had the battery tested. It is good. I replaced the alternator about 18 months ago. If I disconnect the ground, and let it sit for a little while, it will start. It will go for a couple days, then do the same thing again. Also, for about 2-3 years I have been having an issue with the radio cutting out when I hit a bump. It only does that when it is warm outside, and the engine compartment get really hot. If I tap the fuse box, under the dash, the radio comes back on. I tried that for the dead issue, but got no result. I don't know if the two issues are related, but can't hurt to mention it. I thought that it may be a computer issue, but don't know. Please help. I am desperate to get this car going.

Thank you!

you have to make sure that all connections are clean and tight I don't know how many times people asked that same sort of question if your battery is good and charged up you need to check all the cables to make sure that there isn't any corrosion inside the cables. that causes a loose connection in the circuit and it may be time to have a new battery installed so that the posts are not worn out or get loose inside the casing.
