AC Problem

Hello
I was hoping that maybe you guys could give me a ideal of what’s wrong. I have a 99 ford escort, and the ac compressor clutch is not engage. I will go step by step with what I have done so far.

First check fuse, and it was good.

Than check Freon, manifold gauge reading 95-psi low side, high side 95-psi, and that is the static pressure becase the ac clutch is not engaging, and outside temperature was about 95f to 100f.

Check ac relay, pin 21 from battery, volts was 12.10, check pin 22 which leads to pcm, volts was 12.05, then checked pin 23 to ac clutch volts 0.05. Jumped pin 23 to battery, and ac clutch then engage. Therefore, I thought it was the CCRM and I replaced it. Now the AC does kick on for a whole minute or two, then kicks off and does not come back on. However, if you turn the ac off, and back on, then it will reengage for a minute and then off again.

I then jumped the low side pressure switch, not the switch its self but the wire harness, and nothing, will not stay engaged.

I’m not sure how to jump the high side switch, if you know, and could let me know the that would be great.

Now I assume that the 95 psi was a normal Freon level with the ac not running, so I have not rechecked it yet.

Any ideals what might be the problem?

Thanks:)
