Security / keyless entry failure
 

My wife has a 2001 ZX2. Recently the remote stopped unlocking/locking the car for her. We changed the battery, and still nothing. She took the remote into Autozone, thinking that she need to replace it, but they have a tester there, and apparently the remote is just fine. I thought maybe she blew a fuse in the car, but i found no blown fuses. The power door locks work, just not with the remote. Is there a receiving unit in the car that goes bad? Do you have to somehow reprogram the remote when you change the battery? Any ideas?:confused:
