just bought a new excursion, but the reading says i am getting about 9.7 miles to the gallon. I want to know what i can do to get better MPG's. I already have a Banks Ran air filter charger and a Banks Dynaflow exhaust. Anything else in the modifications that i can do to achieve this goal of better MPG's ?

 

mine has the 10 cyl engine and i get 13 to 14 but i make sure i don't do any jackrabbit starts and stops i take off slower from traffic lights and stops a lot slower than i used to and on interstate driving i have found that if i build up my speed slowly and drive 65to 75 i get better fuel mileage i tried the 55 to 60 bit and i only got about 12 mpg
