2004 5.4 Expedition, Eddie Bower w/84000 miles.
Maybe some of you have seen this problem. The engine starts and runs fine. But, whenever you put it in Reverse or Drive the engine shuts off. Not choke up and die.. It just shuts off. I have not found anything in the manual to check for this condition. The water and oil are all ok. The battery terminals were somehant corroded, so I removed both and cleaned the battery post and connectors. I left the battery disconnected for over 45 minutes to hopefully let "somthing" reset itself, but no luck. It still does the same thing.
This Expedition hasn't had any issues to date.
Any assistance would be greatly apperciated.
